The following May 14, 2020 President's Responses are to the Senate Recommendations which were presented, voted and approved by the College Senate at the February 14, 2020 and April 10, 2020 Senate meetings:

Response to College Senate Recommendation: Policy on Adjunct Status Procedure

At its February 14, 2020, meeting, the College Senate voted in favor of the DOPS Policy on Adjunct Status Procedure, Policy No. Vl:25:00, brought forth from the Faculty & Staff Welfare Committee.

At its February 14, 2020, meeting, the College Senate voted in favor of a resolution on a new DOPS Policy for Open Access Policy, brought forth from the Instruction & Research Committee (I&R).

At its April 10, 2020 meeting, the College Senate voted in favor of a resolution on a revision to DOPS Policy on Intellectual Foundations Courses, brought forth from the College Senate Curriculum Committee (CSCC).

At its April 10, 2020 meeting, the College Senate voted in favor of a resolution on a revision to the DOPS Policy on Leave of Absence, Withdrawal From College, brought forth from the Standards for Students Committee (S4S).

Response to College Senate Recommendation: Policy on Scholarship Encompassing Applied Research, Scholarship of Teaching, and Community-Engaged Research and Scholarship

At its April 10, 2020 meeting, the College Senate voted in favor of a resolution on a Supplemental DOPS Policy on Scholarship, Encouraging Approved Applied Research and Teaching, Policy No. VI:04:05, presented by the Instruction and Research Committee.
